Thunderbird Country Club

Thunderbird Country Club features one of the most mature 18 hole golf courses in the Coachella Valley. Golfers enjoy all the perks of playing at the state`s oldest desert course and the first private course outside of Palm Springs. This traditionally designed course features rolling-to-flat terrain, beautiful stands of mature trees, and split-level greens which wrap around several well-established lakes. The course has long been a favorite among pro golfers and celebrities for its challenging layout, spectacular views of the nearby mountains, and its beautiful desert valley setting. Thunderbird was the original site of what eventually became the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. A new clubhouse was added in 2003.
